The Home Depot may be bigger in terms of sales, but Lowe’s has handed its arch-rival its hat in terms of overall growth in recent years.  To keep pace with Lowe’s as it continues to grow larger in The Home Depot’s rear view mirror, TNS Retail Forward created the Lowe’s Program.  This program combines in-depth and thought-provoking reports and analyses with updated news and information databases.

Each month we report on the company’s latest initiatives and key developments to help you stay current. This monthly report also includes same-store sales trends and monthly shopper metrics from TNS Retail Forward’s ShopperScape™ online consumer survey.

Issues Series
Our fact-based, forward-looking series of issues-oriented articles begins with an overview of Lowe’s recent initiatives and plans and highlights key implications—how Lowe’s will affect your business and how you can respond. TNS Retail Forward collects and analyzes responses from 4,000 primary household shoppers each and every month to provide robust, actionable shopper information.

This Internet-based product seeks out and stores the latest news and press releases related to the Lowe’s Program, providing a convenient one-stop source for comprehensive, real-time coverage of Lowe’s global activities and the company’s financial, operational, technical and other important initiatives.

Lowe's Fact Book
Membership also includes access to Lowe’s historic growth and financial trend information. The Lowe’s Fact Book is a database of statistical information on the retailer featuring trended data on sales and store growth, key financial performance metrics, store productivity characteristics and geographic coverage. Updated quarterly, this benchmarking tool is easy to use and flexible enough to download, manipulate and customize.

Strategic Outlook Conference
Members receive three seats to TNS Retail Forward’s annual Strategic Outlook Conference. This one-day executive development conference focuses on the outlook for retailing and consumer goods marketing and distribution. A current assessment of economic developments, significant consumer trends, multi-channel innovations, and key competitive developments across all sales and marketing channels are provided, along with perspectives on emerging trends, critical issues and best practices from around the world. This event is held in annual each spring in major cities across the United States.
